The 2013 Better Hearing Australia National Conference will be held in Sydney from 24 - 27 October 2013.
The theme for 2013 is “The Joy of Hearing” and our aim for the conference is to demonstrate advanced technological development and the use of specialised hardware to maximise the capabilities of digital technology.
Venue is the Grace Hotel, 77 York Street, Sydney which offers excellent conference facilities and accommodation.
Former Prime Minister, John Howard has agreed to speak and open the conference.
Keynote speakers have been invited to address the conference on the theme and we anticipate in excess of 100 delegates, hearing health professionals and relevant organisations to attend.
The conference will be advertised throughout Australia via the media, Better Hearing Australia branches and numerous community groups.
There will be a trade display open to the general public and delegates on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October.
Ambassador
Well known author, TV presenter, radio broadcaster, reporter and producer, Susie Elelman has agreed to be our new ambassador and we are looking forward to working closely with her.
Susie’s name is synonymous with daytime television and she can currently be seen voicing her opinion and sharing her thoughts in a weekly segment on the Seven Network's The Morning Show with Larry & Kylie.

Better Hearing Australia (Sydney) Inc. - A Short History |
Over the period of time the beginnings of any organisation tend to be lost. This can easily happen with changes of personnel and, with the passage of time, the passing of those who were originally directly involved. However, we are fortunate in that some of the early records have been preserved, and this short history is drawn from these documents.
